Delhi Technological University deeply saddened by the loss of Registrar, Col.(Retd.) Neeraj Suri.

Delhi Technological University deeply saddened by the loss of Registrar, Col.(Retd.) Neeraj Suri, on Monday 27th February 2017 after suffering from cancer. He joined Delhi Technological university in July 2014 as Registrar and had been an active part of the University administration ever since.

A very honest and thorough professional, Col Neejay Suri (Retd) has an eye for detail in any assignment entrusted to him. He was a person capable of handling confidential information with utmost diligence. Everyone in the office will miss his ready smile and helpful attitude around the department. He was always giving compliments or a helping hand to the Staff and Students of DTU. He was always professional and pleasant and remembered everyone's names. He made sure we knew we were appreciated and we are truly going to miss him.

Col. Neejay Suri was an alumnus of the National Defence Academy Pune, He served in the Indian Army in various capacities in varied roles for more than 30 years and was also briefly Advisor, Aerospace, and Defence for KPMG India. He also Commanded an elite Armoured Regiment Lead for admin, legal, Discipline & vigilance, welfare for a large headquarters. Strategic HR at corps HQ in an intense counter Insurgency environment.

The passing of Col Neejay Suri is a huge loss for Delhi Technological University. Not only was he a hard-worker, but he also made the University a fun and cheerful place to work. Delhi Technological University Facility, Staff, Students and their family express their sincere condolences during this difficult time for Col. Neeraj Suri and his family and loved ones. He will be missed and always be in our thoughts and forever in our hearts.
