With great pride and sheer ecstasy, DTU announces its 3rd Convocation to be held on 08.12.2016 in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Auditorium, DTU, to confer degrees on the students passed out in the year 2016.
The convocation day marks the achievement of a significant milestone in the lives of the batch of graduating students, their proud families, faculties and above all the Alma Mater. It is an occasion when we charge the outgoing batch with a pledge to dedicate them to the profession they choose and to cause human development.
A colossal footfall of over 3000 guests is expected. The details of degrees being given are as follows:

To enhance the prestige of the ceremony, Shri Najeeb Jung, Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Delhi and Chancellor, DTU shall preside over. Gracing the ceremony as Guest of Honors Prof. H.P. Dikshit, former vice chancellor, I.G.N.O.U. shall deliver the Convocation Address, followed by presentation of Medals and Degrees by the Chancellor.

After administering oath by Vice Chancellor, DTU, Prof. Yogesh Singh, the Convocation ceremony shall be culminated with a lunch just after the program in the lawns of the auditorium.  
Delhi Technological University has been a premier engineering institute in the country since its establishment. Home to some of the brightest minds of the country pursuing their careers in the fields of Engineering and Management, DTU has completed 75 years of sheer excellence this year. During its glorious history, DTU has excelled in imparting technical expertise and knowledge to its students and has given several eminent professionals and scientists to the nation. The University holds an enviable placement record wherein, in the just concluded academic session 261 companies visited the Campus for their placement and made 1211 job proposals. The highest salary has scaled up to US $1,90,000 p.a. by Google, a US based MNC, while a domestic salary of Rs. 30 lakhs p.a. was offered by Goldman Sachs.
