Mathematical fest Evolute 2017 on Data Science and Machine Learning.

Data Science is the most upcoming arena which holds infinite potential for growth and opportunities. Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence are the two most prominent fields of science that have seen immense research work in the past two decades. SIAM DTU is proud to announce its flagship event of the year, the Annual Symposium, as a part of its mathematical fest “Evolute 2017” on 30th-31st March 2017 at B.R. Ambedkar Auditorium, Delhi Technological University from 10 A.M onwards. The annual Symposium is on “Data Science and Machine Learning” with our panel of wonderful achievers in these fields.

The first speaker would be Dr. Chetan Arora an Assistant Professor at IIIT-D, He has done his B.Tech and Ph.D from IIT Delhi. He has been involved in co-founding technology start-ups with his collaborators in India and Japan. Before joining IIITD, he had working as a post-doctoral researcher at Hebrew University. He works in the area of Computer Vision. His specific interests lie in Egocentric Vision and Combinatorial optimization algorithms specially for MRF-MAP inference.

The second speaker would be Mr. Chirag Ahuja, a data scientist and AI practitioner at Tatras Data is one of the guest lecturers who would be enlightening the students about Data Science at the Annual Symposium of SIAM DTU. His area of research is Deep Learning algorithms for Computer Vision, NLP and self-driving cars with immense experience in this field as a previously Hadoop Consultant, he is bound have to have lots of information to share with the students.

The third speaker would be Dr. Anirban Mondal, Associate Professor, With a B.Tech in CSE from IIT-KGP, an MBA from University of Massachussets Amherst and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Singapore, he is an expert in the arena of Big Data and Internet of Things. His other fields of research are Large scale data management in distributed systems and for financial services.

The fourth speaker would be Dr. Niladri Chatterjee, a math professor at IIT Delhi, he is a veteran in the fields of Machine Translation and Artificial Intelligence with a Ph.D. from University of London, he is also specialized in the fields of Reasoning, Statistical modelling and Semantic Web.

The fifth speaker would be Mr. Ankush Singla who needs no introduction, for every engineer is bound to know who he is. The co-founder at Coding Ninjas, Mr Singla has a B.Tech in CSE from IITD and an MS in Computer Science from Stanford University as feathers in his cap. He is an expert in algorithms, programming languages, and machine learning to name a few, He has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Facebook.
